Fishing on South Funen
The South Funen shores have plenty to offer if you are into angling. Especially the cold months, as lots of sea trout choose to spend their winters in our waters because of prevailing low salinity. Cod, eel and flatfish come here too.
Svendborg
Sea trout anglers visiting Svendborg - which offers a lot more than just fishing - can really enjoy the lovely coastal stretch from Bøsøre on the east coast, south and west to Langemarken.
We would recommend Purreskov, Elsehoved, Ballen and Lehnskov Beach.
On the larger islands of Thurø and Tåsinge, there are good spots at Thurø Reef and Øgavl, and Stenodden on Tåsinge. Kill two birds with one stone and enjoy the unique countryside of a virtually untouched island when you fish from, for example Drejø or Skarø.
If you want to try your hand at fishing in deeper waters, you can arrange a trip on a fishing boat from for example, Lundeborg.

Put & Take  The Blue Rock lakes are created in an old gravel pit about 8km west of Svendborg. Creating the lakes is expected completed in 2009 and then the 38 hectares property will hold two large clear water lakes of 4 and 13 hectares. The depth is something for itself, as there has been extracted gravel down to a depth of 28 m. Blue Rock put and take is an attractive fishing park for both the experienced angler as for beginners..
